Hi guys,
Hope you all had an amazing Christmas and New Year! I certainly did however I've still had lots of work to do which has lead to me neglecting Crystal Prophecy! It also means that I haven't had chance to write about everything I've wanted to. So with all this work I've been doing I figured it was about time I shared a snippet of my work with you. These are some images that I styled and photographed in a studio for a jewellery look book. All of the jewellery was designed and handmade by students from my university, UCA. Getting to know the amazingly talented girls and seeing what they got up to kind of made me a little bit jealous and wish that I was getting a degree in jewellery. Although if I did that I probably wouldn't be sat here sharing my Fashion promotion, styling and photography skills on a blog. Thank you to Hannah Troy the make-up artist and Lauren Murphy for being my model couldn't of done it without you girls, Hope you like my work!

Completely inspired, A little bit Obsessed.
Well I recently stumbled across Shop Dixi and Spell & The Gypsy Collective and I have literally become obsessed. The products are amazing and have really inspired me to want to make my own jewellery and have my own boutique. Not even kidding I want my own boutique when I finish university - wish it was that easy. Have I mentioned I'm a little obsessed with jewellery before?
All this silver, turquoise stones, feathers, crystals and driftwood is making me feel really inspired. I don't know what it is about australian brands but they just seem to have something that we don't here in the UK and if we do then can someone please hook me up? Apart from Shop Dixi of course, who definitely have the whole magical australian vibe going on right here in the UK. The brand themselves informed me that part of their look book was actually shot in Australia as I honestly didn't know much about their background but maybe thats why the brand feels so mysterious? Definitely plan on stocking my jewellery box up with Dixi jewels!
Urban Outfitters is probably one of the closest things we have on the high street that stocks australian brands however I would love to visit a Spell store just because the interior and presentation looks amazing, its such a shame that we don't have one in this country. We do however stock Spell & The Gypsy Creative in some UK boutiques Amelie Boutique, The Pretty Junk & The Native State and there is also the option of buying online. I wish I wasn't a student because I just want every single product!
If you don't already follow these guys on Instagram I would 100% recommend that you do.

Hair.
Having short hair is a nightmare. Like most women all I want is for my hair to grow back. Its at that typical weird length where it's in the middle and all I ever want to do is put it up. When I wear my hair up I tend to make it look a bit messy and add a few plaits or put a big bow around my ponytail bobble. However I must admit one of my favourite styling products is the Babyliss big hair hot brush. My hair has been so much more healthy since I started using it and it gives my flat frizzy hair, volume and life! It also saves a lot of time and effort as it dry's your hair and leaves you with a stylish result without needing to whip the straighteners out. I would 100% recommend them for all hair lengths!

Ink.
Sooo... I got a tattoo. Which I can't quite come to terms with considering that I never really used to like them but it was for a good cause and we all change our minds from time to time.
Anyway it all started with trying to find a tattoo I really liked and I decided that if I'm going to have one I'd personally prefer to have one that has some kind of meaning behind it because it is going to be there forever after all. So I'd been thinking about it for quite some time but when I went to stay in my family home in manchester for a week to get my braces tightened (yes, I have braces at the age of 20) I realised that Manchester isn't always going to be home. My family is moving to Australia without me and I'm growing up and wanting to be independent. So yeah, I got a tattoo and this was the outcome...

Did it hurt? seems to be the first thing people seem to ask when it comes to my tattoo. I'm not going to lie it did hurt, especially on the bone as it was along my ribs but you kind of get used to it. The worst part was when the tattooist went over the bits she had already done, GOD HELP anyone that has a tattoo with a lot of shading is all i can say! After 20 minutes of hell it seems to be healing really well and only stung for about an hour afterwards and all i kept saying is "I feel like I have a carpet burn on my side!"but it wasn't as bad as i thought, I don't think.

Covent Garden
Necklace, Rings & Sandals - Topshop, Trousers - Vintage, Bag - Cambridge Satchel,
Leather Jacket - Miss Selfridge
A new year at University means one thing - new projects. Mine happens to be based on Covent Garden in London. Its the perfect place for shopping whether your looking for high street stores, luxury pop ups or quirky market stalls. There's also plenty of cocktail bars and delicious restaurants all surrounded by street entertainers and a sense of magical history. So lets hope I don't get bored of the place by the time it's hand in because it quite possibly may just be one of my favourite places to visit!
Create your own fragrance on the Apple Market perfume stall - cheeky gift idea.
Absolutely LOVE these paintings, nothing like a classic scene from a film. The choices are never ending but these were my faves and I couldn't help but sneak one direction on there, ( Come on I know your a secret fan too).

Inspiration
So the other night I happened to come across the film Alfie, I must admit Jude Law did tempt me into that one because he's sent from the heavens but apart from that why did I never notice how HOT Jude Law and Sienna Miller were as a couple? I mean I knew they were hot but after watching this film I seem to have gained a girl crush for Sienna Miller that I didn't realise existed. Looking past the crazy character, The styling of Sienna's hair and make-up is to die for and reminded me of Bridget Bardot, who was also an absolute babe back in the 60s! These girls just make me so jealous because once upon time I had long blonde locks that got chopped off, an absolute hair dresser disaster but I won't go into that one. Anyway I am fully aware that I am behind on the times and that the couple headlined the celebrity gossip world once upon a time but I just had to sneak them on here somewhere ...
P.S why is that guys automatically think you want a lesbian experience when you say a supermodel or actress is fit? I am forever trying to explain to my boyfriend that a girl crush is more a long the lines of "I want to look like her!" Just thought I'd clear that one up! :)
